„Auschwitz Tour” – poruszający spektakl w reżyserii Elżbiety Depty

„Auschwitz Tour” to przejmujący dramat autorstwa Elżbiety Depty, która odpowiada również za jego reżyserię. Twórcy osadzili akcję spektaklu w teatrze, prowadząc widza przez wszystkie „kręgi piekła”, bez potrzeby opuszczania fotela. Przewodniczką po tej teatralnej podróży jest bohaterka opowiadająca historię Obozu, a jej alter ego – Przewodniczka Off – dopowiada i komentuje to, czego „Zwiedzający” doświadczają. Konwencja teatru w plenerze – Tarnowska Bima, nadaje spektaklowi wyjątkowy, wielowymiarowy charakter.

Bohaterem sztuki staje się również samo Miejsce – żyjące rytmem zwiedzania i zmieniających się pór roku. W obliczu współczesnych konfliktów, w tym wojny toczącej się nieopodal naszych granic, nasuwa się pytanie o aktualne znaczenie Auschwitz – czy nie staje się ono jedynie emocjonującą atrakcją turystyczną?

Miejsce: Skwer Starej Synagogi w Tarnowie. Spektakl został przygotowany w ramach tegorocznej edycji Galicjaner Sztetl – Dni Pamięci Żydów Galicyjskich.

Premiera spektaklu odbyła się w Teatrze im. Ludwika Solskiego w Tarnowie.

"Auschwitz Tour" - a moving performance directed by Elżbieta Depta

"Auschwitz Tour" is a moving drama by Elżbieta Depta, who is also responsible for its direction. The creators set the action of the performance in a theater, leading the viewer through all the "circles of hell" without the need to leave the armchair. The guide on this theatrical journey is the heroine telling the story of the Camp, and her alter ego - the Off Guide - adds and comments on what the "Visitors" experience. The convention of outdoor theater - Tarnowska Bima, gives the performance a unique, multidimensional character.

The Place itself also becomes the protagonist of the play - living with the rhythm of sightseeing and changing seasons. In the face of contemporary conflicts, including the war taking place near our borders, the question arises about the current significance of Auschwitz - is it not becoming just an exciting tourist attraction?
